Throughout my life, I've always been passionate about sports and fitness. I grew up locally in Chisago City, MN, and got an early start in sports while tagging along with my older brother to wrestling practice. I began wrestling at 4 years old and after begging my parents to let me start early eventually began playing football as a second grader in the fourth-grade program. I continued playing both sports through high school with a few seasons of basketball, powerlifting, and baseball mixed in as well. After high school, I attended the University of Minnesota Twin Cities Campus and graduated with degrees in both Marketing and Supply Chain Management. My career brought me back to the Chisago Lakes area and because of the pandemic, my job transitioned to work from home. As gyms began reopening a friend began telling me about the classes he was taking at Thousand Lakes Fitness. Since I wasn't familiar with CrossFit I was hesitant at first, but because I was having trouble staying consistent with at-home workouts I decided to give it a try. I met my friend at the trial class and was instantly hooked not only because of the great workout but also the welcoming community at TLF. Since joining TLF and becoming more proficient at CrossFit I decided to take the class to become a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer in order to learn more about the sport. I'm excited to be able to share that knowledge and my passion for CrossFit with others as a coach at TLF!
